I provide consultancy in two areas: strategic and financial advice; and online strategy, particularly improving sales and marketing channels on the web. Clients have included Firefly Studios, huddle.net, Pixel-Lab and w00t!media.

Gamesbrief is an blog dedicated to the business of games. It aims to be informative, authoritative and above all analytical. Far from being a list of press releases, Gamesbrief aims to make you think with every post.
Non-Executive Director, nDreams
nDreams is the development studio established by Patrick O'Luanaigh to create accessible games with compelling storylines for new and under-served market segments. nDreams is currently working with Sony on an unnamed project.
Chief Executive, GameShadow
GameShadow started life as a piece of technology that automatically keeps a gamer's software updated with the latest fixes, patches and free updates. During my tenure, GameShadow switched from a subscription-based to a free service, implemented an advertising revenue model that saw revenues growing ten-fold, reached a million registered users and launched a social network for gamers
Managing Director and Founder, Lodestar Partners
Lodestar Partners was founded to provide independent corporate finance advice to companies in the video and computer games industries. Assignments ranged from mergers and acquisitions and capital raising to general strategic advice. Clients included SCi/Eidos, Codemasters, Kuju, Blitz, Argonaut and Deutsche Bank.
Director, Media Investment Banking, Deutsche Bank
I was responsible for the origination and execution of media corporate finance business, including mergers and acquisitions, equity capital, private equity and debt products. I particularly focused on the areas of new media, computer games and advertising agencies.
Chief Financial Officer, ShopSmart
ShopSmart was one of the UK's first comparison shopping websites. I was a board level director, responsible for raising capital (over £13.5 million) and managing the finances and financial systems as the company grew ten-fold to over £2.2 million in revenue.
